About SmokeLine
SmokeLine is a Counter-Strike 2 companion app built around one specific problem: utility lineups and pro reference data are useful, but they're scattered across dozens of video creators, settings databases, and community wikis, each with its own format and its own gaps. SmokeLine collects the parts that matter for practice — smoke lineups, pro player settings, and pro crosshair codes — into one consistent, fast, ad-light app.
Why it exists
Learning CS2 utility from a video is slow: you pause, rewind, pause again, and still aren't sure you copied the stance correctly. SmokeLine was built to fix that specific friction — a position screenshot, an aim screenshot, and a short video sit together in one guide screen, so verifying a lineup against your own attempt takes seconds, not minutes of scrubbing.
Project philosophy
- No login required for the core app. Guests get full access to Smoke Lineups, Pro Players, and Pro Crosshairs. An account only matters if you want your favorites to follow you across devices.
- Verified over exhaustive. A shorter, sourced list of crosshair codes and settings beats a longer list padded with guesses — see the Pro Crosshairs page for how that verification actually works.
- Practice tool, not a highlight reel. SmokeLine is meant to stay open in a second window while you're actually playing, not to be scrolled through passively.
CS2 utility learning, the short version
Consistent utility usage — smokes that land in the same spot every time — is one of the few parts of CS2 that's almost entirely mechanical: the same stance and the same aim reliably produce the same result, unlike aim duels or positioning reads that depend on the moment. That makes it one of the highest-value, most learnable parts of the game, and exactly the kind of thing a reference app can meaningfully help with.
