Delete Your Account

You only have an account to delete if you previously signed in with Google. If you've only ever used SmokeLine as a guest, there is no cloud account — see "If You're a Guest" below.

1.Option A — Delete In-App (Recommended)

This is the fastest way, and works immediately without waiting on anyone:

  1. Open the SmokeLine app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Open Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
  6. Your Firebase account and your cloud favorites are deleted

2.Option B — Request Deletion by Email (Without the App)

For Google Play's requirement that account deletion also be requestable from outside the app, you can send a deletion request to our support address:

To keep your account safe, any such request needs to be verified as coming from the account owner (for example, sent from the same email address associated with your SmokeLine account) before it is carried out — we will never delete an account from an unverified request.

We will never ask you for a password — not your Google password, not a Steam password, and no payment information — to process a deletion request. The only thing we need is enough information to identify your account: the email address used to sign in to SmokeLine.

3.What Gets Deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication account
  • Your favorites stored in Firestore (users/{uid}/favorites/*)
  • Any other cloud data tied to your account that SmokeLine may store in the future

Favorites saved only locally on a device are removed when the app's local data is cleared or the app is uninstalled from that device. Some anonymous or aggregate data handled by third-party providers (such as Google AdMob, as part of showing ads) may be retained for a period of time under those providers' own data retention practices — this is independent of SmokeLine and not something account deletion controls.

4.If You're a Guest

If you've never signed in with Google, SmokeLine has no cloud account or server-side data for you to delete. Your favorites exist only on your device — clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes them.
