Terms of Service

1.The Service

SmokeLine is a Counter-Strike 2 smoke-lineup reference and learning application. It provides positions, throw instructions, and reference videos/images to help you learn smoke lineups. By using SmokeLine, you agree to these Terms.

2.Accounts Are Optional

You do not need an account to use SmokeLine. All core features — browsing maps, watching lineup videos, viewing guide images, and saving favorites — work fully as a guest. Signing in with a Google account is entirely optional and only adds cross-device favorites sync.

3.Informational & Educational Purpose

All lineup positions, throw types, and instructions in SmokeLine are provided for informational and educational purposes. Game mechanics can change with game updates, and a lineup that worked at time of recording may no longer land exactly the same way after a map or engine update. SmokeLine does not guarantee any lineup's continued accuracy.

4.Service Availability

SmokeLine streams video and image content from third-party infrastructure and depends on an internet connection for that media, sign-in, favorites sync, and ads (see Section 7). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app or any third-party service it depends on.

5.Internet Requirement

An internet connection is required to watch lineup videos, view guide images, sign in, sync favorites, and load ads. Some navigation works without a connection, but this media content does not.

6.Advertising

SmokeLine is supported by banner and interstitial ads served through Google AdMob, shown subject to your consent choices where applicable (see our Privacy Policy). No rewarded ads or app-open ads are used. Ads are never shown during a lineup video, while viewing a Position/Aim image, or during onboarding, legal, or sign-in screens.

7.Acceptable Use

You agree to use SmokeLine only for its intended purpose and not to: attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app's operation or its backend services; attempt to circumvent the app's advertising or consent systems; use automated tools to abuse the app's authentication, favorites, or media systems; or use the app in any way that violates applicable law.

8.Third-Party Services

SmokeLine relies on Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform, and Cloudflare R2 to operate, and may in the future integrate Steam sign-in. Your use of features backed by these services is also subject to those providers' own terms, where applicable.

9.Independence From Valve

SmokeLine is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, CS2, and any related names, logos, and trademarks are the property of Valve Corporation and are used here only to describe the game the app is a reference tool for.

10.Intellectual Property

The SmokeLine app itself — its design, code, and original written content (such as lineup instructions and step descriptions) — is the property of its developer. Reference video and image content depicting Counter-Strike 2 gameplay is used for the instructional purpose of teaching smoke lineups for that game; underlying game assets, maps, and trademarks remain the property of Valve Corporation and their respective owners. Do not redistribute, resell, or repackage SmokeLine's original content without permission.

11.Third-Party Trademarks

All third-party trademarks, product names, and company names referenced in SmokeLine — including but not limited to Valve, Counter-Strike, Steam, Google, Firebase, and Cloudflare — are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and reference purposes only and does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

12.Disclaimer of Warranty

SmokeLine is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of any lineup information is at your own discretion.

13.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of SmokeLine will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any reliance on lineup information it provides.

14.Modification or Discontinuation

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SmokeLine — including specific features, maps, or third-party integrations — at any time, with or without notice.

15.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as SmokeLine's features change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and the app will ask you to acknowledge the new version before continuing.

16.Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using SmokeLine, or delete your account, at any time — see our Account Deletion page for how. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these Terms.
